In view of the continued growth and spread of new coronaviruses in Europe, Frankfurt Messe has recently evaluated the exhibition again and has decided to postpone the Light + Building exhibition. The most important exhibition in the field of international lighting and building technology will be held in mid-to-late September 2020. The emergence of a new coronavirus infection in Italy last week led to a new round of evaluation and analysis by the public health authorities in Frankfurt, which may carry out multiple health checks on guests from China. Therefore, the organizer's decision to postpone the Light + Building exhibition has been supported by all Light + Building partners, including electrical installation systems and the Lighting Working Group of the German Association of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Industry Centres (ZVEI) and the German Electrotechnical Association (ZVEH ), Many associations from Italy also support the decision. Apart from Germany, the main groups of exhibitors and visitors are guests from China and Italy.
